I want to live at The Commons on Kinnear, what do I need to do now?

We're so excited you chose The Commons on Kinnear as your home away from home! Securing your spot with us is as easy as visiting our website as all leasing is completed online! Apply, pay your application fee, and sign your lease all online from anywhere in the world! Be sure you have a copy of your driver's license or photo ID and payment method to complete your application. You can also complete the lease signing process with a staff member by scheduling an appointment with our office, or simply walking in during our office hours. We will then complete all the necessary paperwork and go through the lease, which takes about 30 minutes.

What is individual leasing?

With Individual Leases, YOU are only responsible for YOUR (or your student's) rent. You aren't liable for your roommates' rent at all! Unlike the traditional lease or a joint lease, if your roommate transfers, graduates, or fails to pay his/her rent, it does not affect you or your lease. College students have enough to worry about. An individual lease is one less thing!

What does my rent include?

Rent includes water/sewer/trash and high-speed internet. Our apartments also come fully furnished and include an HD TV and a washer and dryer. Less bills to organize every month means simplifying your lifestyle!

What should I bring?

Bedding – Queen or extra-long full-size sheets
Bathroom Accessories - shower curtain, mats, towels, toiletries, etc.
Kitchen Utensils – pots and pans, silverware, dishes, cups, bowls, etc.

What size are the beds?

Extra-long full, typically queen size sheets fit the best

Is parking available?

Yes, we have garage parking available for an additional fee each month. We also offer free parking around the building.

Do you allow pets?

Yes, we are pet friendly! We allow cats and dogs up to 45 lbs with some breed restrictions.

When is rent due each month?

Rent is due on the first of every month. Rent is considered late on the third of each month at 10am and late fees will be applied.

How do I pay the rental installment or any other fees?

Payments can be made online with E-check, debit cards, and credit cards (Visa, Discover, Mastercard). We also accept checks or money orders in the office. Fees may apply. We do not accept partial payments or cash.

How do I put in a work order?

You can put in work orders on the Greystar app or on your resident portal on our website. You can also call our office and one of our staff can help you as well.
